Cream Cheese Frosting

 

Ingredients:

182g               ¾ Cup                        Cream Cheese, softened
80g                 ⅓ Cup                        Butter, softened
400g               1 ¾ Cups                   Icing Sugar, sifted
3g                    1 Tsp                          Lemon juice
3g                    1 Tsp                          Vanilla

Batch Yield: Enough for 12 large cupcakes

Method:

  • Whip softened butter until it is light and fluffy
  • Add the cream cheese and whip with butter until fluffy
  • Add lemon juice, vanilla and ¼ of the icing sugar, mix until smooth
  • Continue to add the remaining icing sugar in ¼’s until it has all been added
  • Blend until light and fluffy with no lumps
